NNT Opera Studio Scenes Recital 2023

NNT Opera Studio was founded in April 1998 as Japan's first-ever theatre-affiliated training institute for those seeing a career in opera. Young singers are given an opportunity to appear on the stage of the New National Theatre Tokyo from the first semester at the Opera Studio, to acquire the skill to perform as opera singers.

Scenes Recital 2023 will feature scenes from various operas, mainly arias and ensembles, presented in an omnibus style. Under Sato Masahiro, who assumed the post of director of the Opera Studio this April, the singers create a full-fledged 'stage'. Please enjoy the many famous scenes that make the most of the sensitivity and individuality of the "voice" of each singer, who has been studying through various training programmes.
