The New National Theatre Opera Studio, which has produced many opera singers active in Japan and abroad, presents a number of opera highlights as "Summer Recital."

For Summer Recital 2026, we are proud to present Puccini's late masterpiece, Gianni Schicchi.
The production will be conducted by the distinguished Kathleen Kelly, who previously served as Director of Musical Studies at the Vienna State Opera, and directed by Tara Faircloth, whose work for "Summer Recital 2024" was met with great acclaim.

The original prologue, "Portrait of the Donati's", directed by Tara Faircross, brings together American works by composers such as K. Weill, S. Barber, and G. Menotti to depict the human drama of the Donati family.
