* For the evening performances on 12, 13 and 15 July, we will suspend tikcket sales at 18:00 on Sunday 11 July. There will be no day ticket (including Z seats) for these performances.

For the rest of the performances, we will suspend the ticket sales at 18:00 on Sunday 11 July. Tickets for the performances which have not reached 50% of the auditorium capacity go on sale at 10:00 on Monday 12th July until they reach 50%.
Day tickets (including Z seats) will be sold only for performances which have not reached the auditorium capacity of 50%.

DETAILS

Playwright MIYAMOTO Ken has taken his own experiences to vividly illustrate in Reaction Process the lives of those who worked in a military supplies factory just before the end of the Second World War. This was the second production of the full audition programme originally scheduled for April 2020, but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 state of emergency. The Theatre has been working to stage the play as soon as possible and has now reassembled the whole cast and staff to stage the production in July 2021!

As part of OGAWA Eriko's commitment as Artistic Director of Drama to "experiment and pioneer theatrical systems", the programme is an annual project where every cast is selected through auditions, where creators meet new actors, actors meet a new director, and the theatre meets new creators, and all come together to create a piece.
The Theatre welcomes director, CHIBA Tetsuya, who has been involved with a great many NNTT productions both as an actor and a director. Auditions were held over six weeks from the end of October to mid-December 2018, and among the many who auditioned, 14 actors were cast.

Booking Z seats (Day tickets) 1,650 yen

  • You are able to purchase Z seat tickets online from 10:00 am. Click "BUY TICKETS" next to "Z" under each performance information.
  • There is a handling charge of ¥330 (incl. tax).
  • Only when seats allocated as Z seat still available 2 hours before the show starts, you are able to purchase these tickets at the Box Office of the theatre.

Concession Prices

Under 15s discounts and Z seats (Day Tickets) are available online. Other types of discount tickets are not available online. Please inquire at the Box Office or by telephone.

    • No admittance to pre-school children. Each child older than this age requires a ticket for entry, even when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
    • Tickets may not be changed or refunded except following conditions.
      • When the performance is cancelled.
      • In case you correspond to the conditions as mentioned on this page.
      • If you choose not to attend the performance due to prevent infection.
