DANCE to the Future: 2021 Selection

DANCE to the Future is a series of programmes featuring contemporary dance works choreographed by dancers of the National Ballet of Japan(NBJ). Selected works from the "NBJ Choreographic Group", a project for nurturing choreographers at the NBJ, will be performed in the NNTT's Playhouse. We will be staging works selected both from the cancelled performances of March 2020 and the internal showings to take place in June 2021. We will also present a revival of UESHIMA Yukio's "Nat King Cole Suite", the highly acclaimed jazz piece performed by NBJ dancers in 2011. Come and discover a whole new side to the NBJ dancers.

[Covid-19] Our Prevention Plan and Request to Our Patrons

The performances will be taking place based on the policies of the Japanese government and the Tokyo Metropolitan government, along with the guideline for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 infection by the Association of Public Theatres and Halls in Japan.
