New National Theatre, Tokyo (NNTT) will hold the performances from 12 May onwards while thoroughly implementing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, however in light with the Japanese government's declaration of a state of emergency which is extended by the end of May, we have made the following changes to our performances, ticket sales, and so forth.

Opera "Don Carlo"

• Performance schedule
  We have changed the opening time of night performance on the 20th May.
  The perfomance starts at 17:30 instead of 18:30.
  
  Purchased tickets for the performance on 20th May is valid even if the opening time has been changed.
  Patrons who wish to cancel their tickets will receive a refund. Please contact our Box Office.　
  
  Ticket sales for the 20th of May are suspended from May 8 and will go on sale again when they get ready.
  
  
  
• Ticket sales

  We suspend the ticket sales for the performances on 23, 26, 29 May as of 8 May at 18:00.
  Tickets for the performances which have not reached 50% of overall capacity go on sale at 10:00 on 9 May until they reach 50%.
  

  The tickets are sold for all seats as normal (except the seats in rows 1-3 on the 1st Floor).
  
  Day tickets (including Z seats) will be sold only for performances which have not reached 50% overall seating capacity.

Drama "Tokyo Godfathers"

• Ticket sales
  
  We suspend the ticket sales for all performances as of 8 May at 18:00.
  Tickets for the performances which have not reached 50% of overall capacity go on sale at 10:00 on 9 May until they reach 50%.
  
  The tickets are sold for all seats as normal.
  
  Day tickets (including Z seats) will be sold only for performances which have not reached 50% overall seating capacity.

As of this point in time, we plan to hold performances from June onward and their related ticket sales as per the announced schedule however this is subject to change depending on the COVID-19 situation.
