DETAILS
This is the stage version of Dekalog, a famous work by world-renowned Polish film director Krzysztof Kieślowski, comprising ten stories.
Based on the motif of the Ten Commandments from the Old Testament of the Bible, Dekalog is a drama created from ten approximately one hour episodes. Each of the episodes is loosely linked by the Ten Commandments motif, and all of the stories, set in a housing project in 1980s Warsaw, Poland, portray universal love and human weakness through the people that live there. The ten stories are independent works of approximately one hour each and can basically be enjoyed by audiences watching them in any order. But audiences may also enjoy the fun of discovering how these independent stories are actually interlinked.
