This new production of "La Bayadère", featuring choreography revised in 2000 by MAKI Asami, is known for its stylistic beauty, spectacular and fast-paced development on stage, and gorgeous Oriental stage design. Love square between Nikiya, a dancer at a temple, her lover Solor, a warrior serving the rajah, Gamzatti, the rajah's daughter who has taken a liking to Solor, and the High Brahmin who has feelings for Nikiya is also trying to get his way. The work exudes character at every turn, and the stunning set in the Realm of Shadows slowly gliding down the three-tiered slope is spectacular. Also a breath-taking beauty of the scene at the end of the story, in which the temple collapses with a thunderous roar while Nikiya and Solor ascend to heaven, is simply divine.

  • There is a handling charge of ¥324 (incl. tax).
  • Only when seats allocated as Z seat are still available at 11:00 am, you are able to purchase these tickets at the Box Office of the theatre.
  • Note that all Z seats are on a first come, first served basis and will come with restricted views.

Concession Prices

Under 15s discounts and Z seats (Day Tickets) are available online. Other types of discount tickets are not available online. Please inquire at the Box Office or by telephone.
