DETAILS
The second in the series of dance works by Moriyama Kaiji, to be enjoyed by adults and children alike. Ninja was performed in 2019 in the Pit of NNTT, and was highly acclaimed at many theatres throughout Japan. This time, we present the new 2022 version which was scaled up for performances in Playhouse.
These delightfully characteristic ninja sneak into a castle, and transform into lizards, toads, venomous snakes, slugs and more in the mountains and forest. Origami-inspired throwing stars, a battle in a mountaintop fire, torrential rain, water strider insects on the water's surface, and the moon. Immerse yourself in the world of Moriyama Kaiji--with a perfect blend of music, set and costume design, lighting design, projection design and dance--and feel the depth of Japanese culture.

Booking Z seats (Day tickets) 1,650 yen
- You are able to purchase Z seat tickets online from 10:00 am. Click "BUY TICKETS" next to "Z" under each performance information.
- There is a handling charge of ¥330 (incl. tax).
- Only when seats allocated as Z seats still available at 11:00 am, you are able to purchase these tickets at the Box Office of the theatre.
Concession Prices
Under 15s discounts for age 13-15 are available online. Other types of discount tickets are not available online. Please inquire at the Box Office or by telephone.
Please Note
- Latecomers will not be admitted to the auditorium unless there is a suitable break or interval.
- No admittance to children under 4. Each child older than this age requires a ticket for entry, even when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Tickets may not be changed or refunded except in the case of a cancelled performance.
