New National Theatre, Tokyo becomes a project partner of OperaVision - A world leading opera streaming platform

We, New National Theatre Tokyo (NNTT), are happy to announce that NNTT becomes a project partner with the international opera streaming platform OperaVision.
NNTT will regularly present the recordings of our performances through this wonderful platform.

OperaVision Project was launched in 2017 by Opera Europa to offer audiences worldwide an enriched, freeview, online, curated season of opera and musical theatre with specific emphasis on attracting and cultivating emerging audiences, celebrating opera's cultural heritage, promoting young artists, and developing opera for the future. The project is supported by the European Union's Creative Europe programme.
From the year of 2022, 30 opera houses and companies from 16 countries take part in this international project.

In the past years, NNTT collaborated with OperaVision by sharing some video contents from us. One of the most successful collaborative programmes was the free stream of Opera Carmen from October 2021 to January 2022. The stream gained more than 43,000 views from many countries.

We are proud of being a first Asian opera house partner with OperaVision and will offer our world-class performances towards many audiences all over the world.
