NEGISHI YuiSoloist

NEGISHI Yui was born in Tokyo. She trained at Reiko Otsuka ballet, Ballet Libre and Hungarian Dance University. She was selecetd as Semi-finalist at the Prix de Lausanne in 2021. After working in the airline company in Japan, she joined the National Ballet of Japan in 2021. Her repertory includes Polish Princess in Swan Lake, Myrtha in Giselle, Carabosse in The Sleeping Beauty, The Rat Queen in The Nutcracker, David Dawson's A Million Kisses to my Skin, Fairy Winter in Frederick Ashton's Cinderella, William Forsythe's The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude and Courtesan in Kenneth MacMillan's Manon. She was promoted to First Artist in 2023 and to Soloist in 2026.
