LEE MyeonghyunSoloist

LEE Myeonghyun was born in Korea. In 2017, he won the Gold Medal in the Pre-Junior Division of the Korea International Ballet Competition. After studying at Canada's National Ballet School, he joined the Korean National Ballet in 2020. He won First Prize at the Seoul International Ballet Competition in 2022. In 2023, he danced with Ballet de l'Opera national de Paris on a short-term contract, and after performing with Universal Ballet, he joined the National Ballet of Japan in 2024 as a First Artist. His repertory includes Lad / Lead Hussar in Wayne Eagling's "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King", Peasant pas de deux in "Giselle" and Lewis Carroll/The White Rabbit in Christopher Wheeldon's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland". He was promoted to Soloist in 2025.
