KAMINAKA YukiSoloist
KAMINAKA Yuki was born in Tokyo. He trained at the Sachiko Ogura Ballet Studio and Ballettakademie der Wiener Staatsoper, and from 2012 he joined Wiener Staatsballett as an apprentice. In 2013 he joined the Slovak National Theatre Ballet, where he was promoted to Soloist in 2016 and to First Soloist (the highest rank) in 2020. He became a member of the National Ballet of Japan in 2021. His repertory includes Hop-o'-My-Thumb in " The Sleeping Beauty", Russian in "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King", pas de deux in "Giselle", Vicar/The March Hare and Three Gardeners in Christopher Wheeldon's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", Malcolm in Will Tuckett's "The Tragedy of Macbeth"and William Forsythe's "The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude". He was promoted to Soloist in 2025.
