ISHIYAMA RenSoloist

ISHIYAMA Ren was born in Kaganawa prefecture. He trained at the Sumiya Mariko Ballet. He graduated from New National Theatre Ballet School in 2021 and joined the National Ballet of Japan in 2022. His repertory includes Hop-o'-My-Thumb in The Sleeping Beauty, Bronze Idle in La Bayadere, Peasant Pas de Deux in Giselle, Jester in Frederick Ashton's Cinderella, Pack in Frederick Ashton's The Dream, Beggar Chief in Kenneth MacMillan's Manon, Nacho Duato's Duende and David Dawson's A Million Kisses to my Skin. He was promoted to First Artist in 2024 and Soloist in 2026.
