December, 2012 -January, 2013
We knew we wanted to get Nagatsuka Keishi to write and direct a special project, the kind that could only happen here. The possibilities were explored in a series of discussions over several years. A diverse group of artists came together for the project, and the performers worked with one another for nearly a year in workshops and discussions to develop this piece which fuses elements of theatre, dance and music.
Otono Inai Sekaide is slated to open just before Christmas, timed to encourage attendance by the widest possible audience. We want children, their parents, and people of all stripes to see the play and experience it live and in person.
It's a show sure to please even kids and older children, so we'd love to see you there!
