NNT Drama Studio was established in April 2005 with the objective of training the next generation of theatre actors. The programme is led by a faculty of experts in theatrical education and prominent theatre makers from inside and outside of Japan.
Spanish playwright Antonio BUERO VALLEJO penned "Historia de una Escalera (Story of a Stairway)" in 1949 after serving six years in prison following the Spanish Civil War. The work given a realistic description of Madrid's lower-middle class residents won the Lope de Vega Prize.
This production features final year students of the NNT Drama Studio.
