This is a restaging of a highly acclaimed 2012 production of "Lohengrin". Director Matthias von STEGMANN takes this opera as being a "true tragedy" and, while approaching it in the traditional manner, nevertheless draws out new forms of expression at every turn. In this production he is helped by rosalie, who creates a stage space of art and costume, putting light and shadow to expert use.
Klaus Florian VOGT appears in the title role since we first opened this Lohengrin in 2012, once again mesmerising the audiences with his voice and stage presence. Manuela UHL plays Elsa. Artistic director IIMORI Taijiro, known for his expertise in the works of WAGNER, leads these world famous singers with his baton.
