This is the third in a series that began in 2008 when the company first took up the challenge of STRAVINSKY with The Rite of Spring. Then in 2013, with the French Impressionist Trip Triptych, was a superb performance to the music of the three composers RAVEL, DEBUSSY and SATY. This third offering in the music series features the work of the ever-evolving choreographer and dancer, HIRAYAMA Motoko.
There will also be a session exploring the roots of dance and rhythm by way of the txalaparta, the txalaparta being a traditional percussion instrument from the Basque region of Spain.
