DANCE to the Future is a sophisticated contemporary dance piece staged by dancers of the National Ballet of Japan (NBJ). It forms part of a performance series of the kind to be enjoyed only at the NNTT. This season features a performance at the Playhouse of the best works to emerge from the NBJ Choreographic Group, a project for nurturing choreographers at the National Ballet of Japan.
At the same time will be a staging of Escaping the Weight of Darkness, a piece created by the progressive American choreographer, Jessica LANGE, especially for the National Ballet of Japan and which premiered in March 2014.
