The JAPON dance project started in May 2013 in the Principality of Monaco when five Japanese artists came together to collaborate. As well as having danced in world's top ballet companies, they all have international experience as dancers and choreographers. JAPON is a project that draws on cultural approaches unique to Japan to conduct research into contemporary dance, facilitate collaboration and creation, and promote exchange between various generations of dancers. This time, they will assemble at the NNTT to collaborate with the dancers of the NBJ.
