The National Ballet of Japan (NBJ)'s production of "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" choreographed by Wayne EAGLING premiered in October 2017, is to be released on DVD Book this week.

EAGLING's breathtakingly beautiful staging was acheived by the collaboration with Japanese designers KAWAGUCHI Naoji(set), MAEDA Ayako (costume) and SAWADA Yuji (lighting), has infused a refreshing new outlook into this classical masterpiece loved by audiences worldwide.

The DVD Book includes the full-length recording of "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King", the introduction of the work (written in Japanese) and extra footage including an interview with Principal dancers and clips from behind the scene.
The book is available at bookshops and internet bookstores in Japan from the 26th of April.
