IKEDA Risako was born in Tokyo. She trained at the Ballet Studio Duo under TANAKA Yoko. She won Bronze medal in the New York City Finals at the Youth America Gran Prix (Senior Level) in 2009, First place in High School Students category and second place in Contemporary Section of the 2010 NBA National Ballet Competition. She studied at the Hungarian National Ballet School scholarship from 2010 to 2011. She won Second place in Pas de Deux Category of the National Dance Competition, Japan Ballet Association Award and Second place in Senior Level of the All Japan Ballet Competition. She danced as Giulietta in the Hoffmann's Love by ITO Noriko. After her career with K-Ballet Company, she joined the National Ballet of Japan as Soloist in 2016.
