The second play in the series teams Maeda Shiro, the promising young playwright, leader of the young actors’ ensemble Gotandadan, and winner of the 2004 Kyoto Arts Center Performing Arts Award with the director Shirai Akira, who has worked in a variety of genres from stage plays (notably Yukikai Office productions) to musicals, and who staged a memorable production of Noises Off in the 2005 season at the New National Theatre, Tokyo.
