Kick Off Party was held on Oct.18 (Mon), the first day of
the "ELEKTRA " rehearsals.
"The production will be the positive statement that Elektra
bursts completely into flames. Consequently there will be the birth of new
life filled with hope after the fire the debris" said Hans= Peter Lehmann,
stage director in his speech explaining the production concept.
On the same occasion, Olaf Zombeck, stage and costume designer described
the set concept as fermented set transformed into a different creatures"
According to Thomas Novohradsky, artistic director of opera " It is
the biggest challenge for the soprano who performs Elektra, the
conductor, and stage director. Hans=Peter Lehmann and Ulf Schirmer, both
leading R.Strauss experts will produce a very powerful production and it
will overwhelm the audience. No music lovers should miss this outstanding
opera by R.Strauss in his life time."
