"The
Nutcraker" is calling you.
It happened one Christmas Eve. A big party was held at Masha's house around a tall Christmas tree. Masha was so happy because she was given a nutcracker by her dear godfather Drosselmeyer, but that was not all that made her Christmas wonderful. That night, the nutcracker, who fought against an army of mice, changed into a handsome prince and took her to the Kingdom of Sweets.
Performed at theatres worldwide at Christmas time, "The Nutcracker" is a ballet that gives poetic charm to winter. Led by the handsome prince, Masha experiences fantastic snow scenes, the dance of the colorfully dressed Sugar-Plum Fairies, and a splendid waltz of roses. This fairy tale world unfolds adorned by Tchaikovsky's cheerful music. This is a fantasy for children who wait in expectation for Christmas and also for everyone, old and young alike, who continue to hold on to dreams.
