Change of Cast for Il Trovatore, La Bohème, and Educational Programme for High School Students in Kansai L'elisir d'amore

We regret to announce that we have received the notification of cancellation for several cast members.

Cast Change of 2011/2012 season Opera

As regards to the opera performances of Il Trovatore, to be staged from 2 to 17 October 2011, George Gagnidze, who originally was to perform the role of Il Conte di Luna is unable to perform due to his uncertainties regarding aftershocks of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Alternatively, Vittorio Vitelli is going to take his place.

As regards to the opera performances of La Bohème to be staged from 19 to 29 January 2012, Arturo Chacón-Cruz, who originally was to perform the role of Rodolfo is unable to perform due to care for his health from his uncertainties regarding the nuclear hazard.
Alternatively, Ji-Min Park is going to take his place.


Cast Change of 2011 Educational Program

As regards to the opera performances of Educational Programme for High School Students in Kansai L'elisir d'amore to be staged from 26 to 28 October 2011, Yonashiro Kei, who originally was to perform the role of Belcore is unable to perform due to personal reasons.
Alternatively, Narita Hiroyuki is going to take his place.
