The New National Theatre, Tokyo (NNTT), opened in 1997, has been the principal national theatre in Japan for the modern performing arts, such as opera, ballet, contemporary dance, and play. It has been widely appreciated all over the world not only for its good device of the stages but the magnificent architecture of itself.

We have been aimed to produce the finest productions of the performing arts, and to become a theatre that is well known and loved by all the people. Now that we have begun to celebrate our tenth anniversary in year 2007, we are doing our utmost to achieve these two missions of the NNTT.

Now we are trying informing you of our activities more appropriately so that you could come to our theatre more often. We prepare to support you with many servicing as well as the Kids Room.
