The premiere of “LULU” was on Feb.8th (Tue).
Sato Shinobu gave the beautiful and genuine performance as title role with its mysterious erotic character. While Claudio Ottelli as Dr.Shoen / Jack the Ripper remained of brilliant impression throughout, Takahashi Jun as Alwa showing the fervent love with Lulu was really convincing.Daring production by David Pountney showed the extreme emotion of characters. Stefan Anton Reck, the conductor stably conducted LULU, which is one of his repertoires.
