As regards to 2002/2003 season opera production of "Otello" (to be staged from June 10, 2003), the stage director was changed from Alberto Fassini to Elijah Moshinsky.
Originally, New National Theatre, Tokyo intended to rent the production of Teatro San Carlo (directed by A. Fassini), but for economic reason, we decided instead to rent the production of Covent Garden (premiered in January 13, 1987 / directed by E. Moshinsky).
