NNTT Stream - Super Angels (August 2021)

Scene 1 The School
Akira and Golem 3 are reminiscing about the time they met. Akira asks “why did you help us?”, to which Golem 3 responds “because it seemed like you would evolve more than I”.
Scene change to a graduation ceremony. The chorus hears “the Five Angels”. The graduates are sorted into “Leader”, “Guardian”, “Scholar”, “Worker” and “Anomaly”. They are injected with a nanochip and are placed under the control of the Mother. Akira is declared a “Anomaly” and is assigned to the settlement. He bids farewell to Erika, who is selected to become a scholar. They exchange a clay figurine and a bamboo flute and promise to meet again. Humanoid AI Golem 3, the educator of the “Anomaly”, leads them to the settlement.

Scene 2 The Settlement
Akira, who is in charge of the maintenance of Golem 3, lives with it in the same warehouse. Akira yearns for Erika and he vents his misery on the clouds and stones. Golem 3 can sense Akira’s hopeless longing. Human beings have two minds; consciousness and unconsciousness. Complex emotions such as desire, prayers, love and compassion are concealed in the second mind. If the second mind could be converted into algorithm, all dreams would become reality. Golem 3 attempts to create a “third mind” named “Chaos Machine” through its interaction with Akira.

Scene 3 Quantum Cadenza
Golem 3’s stream of consciousness and the transformation of the Mother are represented by the ballet, chorus and video images. Akira escapes the control of the Mother thanks to his interaction with Golem 3. The Mother uses Erika’s image in an attempt to bring Akira into submission. Akira screams “I don’t need evolution. I don’t care if I perish”. He removes the chip planted in his temple and throws himself into the pond.

Scene 4 The Settlement
The Mother, assuming that Golem 3 has gone mad and is instigating the “Anomaly” to rebel, orders to destroy Golem 3 and the “Chaos Machine” and to bring the Settlement under control. George from the Department of National Security and AI doctor Erika are sent to execute the mission. The Settlement is surrounded by soldiers. During the interrogation of the “Anomaly”, Erika learns from Luisi how to communicate with Akira and falls asleep.

Scene 5 The Forest
Erika suddenly realizes she is in a forest. Akira appears as a young boy and tells Erika that he is no longer part of this world. Akira asks Erika to protect the Settlement with Golem 3. Akira leads her to the door that will take her back to the real world and she opens the door.

Scene 6 Creater of Nowhere
Erika attempts to stop George, who is hurriedly destroying Golem 3 and the “Chaos Machine” by saying “please don’t destroy the world that they created”. She tries to protect Golem 3 but…..
