Profile of director Moïse Touré
Born 1962 in Côte d'Ivoire. Touré established a theatre company in Grenoble, France in 1984. Working from texts by Duras, Sartre, Koltès, Le Clézio and others, Touré has worked not just in France but as ambitiously taken on projects in Morocco, Nigeria, Bolivia, Dominica, Mali, Brazil, Senegal, Portugal and the Caribbean. In Japan, Touré has been involved in workshops and training productions at Gakushūin University.

From 1996 to 2007, he worked as assistant to Georges Lavaudant, who was Artistic Director at the Odéon Theatre in Paris. Touré participated in a number of projects at the Odéon Theatre, including "Théâtre de l'Europe". As a member of a French governmental body organizing cultural activities in former colonies and other French-speaking regions, Touré has dedicated great energy to the planning and execution of stage performances that helped reinforce ties between France and Africa.

Since 2004, he has been director-in-residence at the Théâtre d'Annecy, a national theatre in the department of Savoie in southeast France.

The year 2009 marked the 20th anniversary of Koltès's death. In 2009 and 2010, Touré has been involved with production of Koltès plays around the world. In France, Touré is highly regarded as a director and producer.

Profile of choreographer Francis Viet
After working as a dancer in Pina Bausch's dance company, Viet has branched out into choreography. He is particularly recognized for his talent at employing unique methods to provide instruction in physical expression to artists who are not primarily dancers. In Viet's choreography for Quai Ouest, the audience can expect a wide variety of movements that communicate the idiosyncrasies of the characters.
