"KNOCKING ON THE DOOR" OPERA EXHIBITION in Kyoto (19 Sep. - 29 Nov)

An exhibition called "Knocking on the Door" introducing Opera productions of the New National Theatre Tokyo (NNTT) is being held at the Music Salon of ROHM Theatre Kyoto from the 19th September to the 29th November.

This exhibition coincides with NNTT production of "The Magic Flute" presented as an Educational Programme for High School Students on the 29th and the 31st of October at the Main Hall of ROHM Theatre Kyoto.

The exhibition will give visitors an opportunity to know more about NNTT and its opera productions by looking at stage photos, costumes and models of the set design. This year, the display will focus on "Madama Butterfly", "Tosca", "L'elisir d'amore (The Elixir of Love)" and "La Boheme", and admission is free of charge.
