The second part of the series "Drama for Two─The Power of Dialogue" will feature the drama Vigil from the Canadian modern playwright Morris PANYCH. This unique, biting comedy was first performed in 1995, received a Jessie Richardson Award (in the category Outstanding Original Play in the Vancouver district) and has been staged repeatedly since. Directing the play will be the founder of the Haegiwa theatre company, NOZOE Seiji, highly acclaimed in recent years for his work. This will be the first appearance for both PANYCH and NOZOE at the NNTT.
After the Tokyo performances, Vigil is to be staged outside Tokyo.
