A fulfilling program that is made possible by NNTT
NNTT has always been a pioneer in staging Japanese premieres, and this tradition continues with contemporary ballet. For example, NNTT was the first Japanese theatre to perform a triple bill of Nacho Duato works; he is the darling of the contemporary dance world from Spain. Also, in the “Emerald Project” which aims at choreographing and producing new narrative ballets, a performance of American choreographer Dominic Walsh’s original work is being planned. This ballet concert program will feature American choreographer Twyla Tharp’s masterpiece “Push Comes to Shove”, Nacho Duato’s “Por Vos Muero”, and Balanchine’s “Serenade”, a unique program that is exclusive to NNTT.
