A totally delightful love story, rich with the atmosphere of Spain
Based on Cervantes' famous novel, this is a sunny love story that unfolds between Kitri and Basilio, two young lovers that Don Quixote encounters in the course of his picaresque journey. The dances making up the ballet are a series of bravura displays of technique, which, along with the colorful costumes and stylish staging replete with the lyricism of Spain, make this a rewarding and popular work.

Synopsis

The setting is La Mancha in Spain.Don Quixote goes on a journey accompanied by his servant Sancho Panza. He visits Barcelona. The popular Kitri is in love with the poor barber Basilio. But her father wants her to marry a nobleman. So Don Quixote decides to give her a helping hand...
