THE LOFT ---In order to pursue an even closer space for drama, the art of words, THE LOFT series, uses a space created by dividing the Pit into halves. Three works will be presented using actors and production staff that best suit this dense space. Discover new attractions in the power of words that drama has by feeling the very breath of the actors as they speak their lines.

THE LOFT [ Futari no Onna Heishi no Monogatari ]

"I want this play to be structured so that the various complexities of the world are thrown into sharp relief by scenes employing only two people." Futari no Onna Heishi no Monogatari (A Story of Two Female Soldiers) is a unique work written by Sakate Yoji for THE LOFT series, in which the writer confronts himself squarely with two actresses to create numerous fights between the women. The play makes the utmost use of THE LOFT's close space and develops a succession of exciting and riveting short stories. The third in THE LOFT series, which creates an infinite number of situations from a simple dramatic space, this play offers inspiring entertainment that enables the audience to share a single space with the performers.
