HIKARIBirth of a New Opera!

An astronaut lands on the moon and experiences a world of mystery beyond light and darkness.
Ichiyanagi Toshi's sharp music vividly portrays the profound spiritual world of novelist Hino Keizo.

Synopsis
A man named Mitsuda is hospitalized for memory defects. He is an astronaut, and is mentally suffering because of the experience he had in the total vacuum on the moon that is nonexistent on earth. Through his encounter with the Chinese nurse Huang, as well as mental exchanges with Old Women, homeless people and his former colleagues, his mind gradually heals. At the same time, he begins to urge others to revive humanity rarely seen in people's lives today.
