Background
Enjoy a heartwarming ballet offered by NNTT at the end of the year.
This year, NNTT will present The Nutcracker, performed at theatres worldwide at Christmas time, which has become a special feature of this particular season. The fantastic world that unfolds with music by Tchaikovsky has fascinated many people young and old.
NNTT included this ballet in its repertoire earlier than any other work, and it was highly acclaimed at each performance. It is a dream-like ballet that can be enjoyed even by those who are seeing ballet for the first time.

<Synopsis>
On Christmas Eve, a young girl named Masha is attracted for some inexplicable reason to an ugly nutcracker doll that was given to her by her uncle Drosselmeyer as a Christmas present. Late at night, the room becomes filled with an army of mice, which fight against toy soldiers under the command of the nutcracker. Masha's last-minute inspiration leads the nutcracker to victory, and the nutcracker transforms himself into a handsome prince, inviting Masha to the Land of Sweets···
