Appointment of the next Artistic Directors
The New National Theatre Foundation is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has appointed
Mr.Iimori Taijiro (Opera), Ms. Ohara Noriko (Ballet & Dance) to become Artistic Consultants on September 1, 2012 which will be followed by them assuming the post of Artistic Directors from 2014/2015 season.
They will serve as Artistic Consultants from September 1, 2012 to August 31, 2014 (for two years) and as Artistic Directors from September 1, 2014 to August 31, 2018 (for four years).
The present Artistic Director (Play)
Miyata Keiko will continue to serve until August 31, 2016.
