Our Condolences To Maestro John Lanchbery

It is with great sorrow that we have received the sad news of passing of the Maestro Mr. John Lanchbery.
Mr. Lanchbery, one of the most leading ballet conductors today, passed away on 27th of February in Australia.
He was working active on international fields of ballet, which include the Principal Conductor of The Royal Ballet, Music Director of The Australian Ballet, and Music Director of American Ballet Theatre. At New National Theatre, Tokyo, he conducted F. Ashton’s "Cinderella" in 1999, and for Asami Maki’s "La Bayadère" in 2000, he not only conducted the performances but also arranged the music of this ballet, thus leading our ballet company to accomplish the higher level of performances.
Here we extend our deepest condolences to his family and associates.
