This mature masterpiece of MOZART tells the story of Don Giovanni's uninhibited, philandering life and its shocking end, and in its portrayal probes the depths of human nature. In Grischa ASAGAROFF's classic production, Don Giovanni's character is moulded after Jacopo CASANOVA, a playboy who actually existed in 18th century Venice.

Adrian ERÖD sings the title role. His wonderful acting abilities were showcased in the NNTT 2011 production of Die Fledermaus, as Eisenstein, and the quality of his singing has been proven in performances at the Bayreuth Festival and elsewhere.The prominent Austrian conductor, Ralf WEIKERT, leads the orchestra.
