Kojiri Kenta New Work

Following two years of creations under the Choreographer-in-Residence Program at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse No. 1, Kenta Kojiri is presenting his first work at the New National Theatre Tokyo while serving as an advisor for "NBJ choreographic Group." In this performance production, dancers from the National Ballet of Japan and internationally active contemporary dancers come together to show moments of "body dialogue" created as the dancers' bodies respond to one another. Pursuing poetic stage expression with his unique vision backed by a wealth of international experience, Kojiri creates an intricate yet powerful, one-of-a-kind dance performance where tradition crosses with modernity.
