Our 2019/2020 ballet season kicked off with Kenneth MACMILLAN's "Romeo and Juliet" today.

This is a masterpiece by Sir Kenneth MACMILLAN, one of the most influential British choreographers of the 20th century. Sergei PROKOFIEV's dramatic and colorful music combined with Sir Kenneth's choreography draw out the depth of tragedy from the original story by SHAKESPEARE. The dramatic ballet demands high levels of both technique and inner expression; you can set your expectations high for this love story woven by our dancers.
